First crypto-focused ’40 under 40′ ranking released
Fortune has released its first crypto-focused ‘40 under 40‘ list, highlighting young innovators in the finance and technology industries.
The list is a more intensive version of Fortune’s existing list, which already contains four entries from the crypto world, and has been created to reward those who are helping to bring about the “financial revolution” caused by blockchain, cryptocurrencies and other distributed ledger technologies.
The list contains many figures from across the financial tech world, including CEO of Coinbase Brian Armstrong, co-founder of Ethereum Vitalik Buterin, co-founder of Bitmain Jihan Wu, and former blockchain program lead for JPMorgan Chase Amber Baldet.
The list not only contains those currently in the crypto industry, but also those leading from within the traditional financial sector.
Along with JPMorgan’s Amber Baldet, these include figures such as her successor Chistine Moy and Goldman Sachs’ Rana Yared and ustin Schmidt.
The more focused ’40 under 40′ list points to the continuing move to mainstream awareness for blockchain tech, and could help to raise its profile even further.
